Led a team of technical consultants, developed MRV frameworks, tracked NDC indicators, and engaged with stakeholders to enhance climate action in the oil and gas sector.
The Clean Air Task Force (CATF), in collaboration with CLN and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), is working to build capacity on fugitive methane emissions in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector. The project also involved assessing and establishing mitigation measures and developing policies to include methane emission reduction strategies in Nigeria’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC).
Designed an MRV framework to track mitigation actions and explored carbon monetisation opportunities to incentivise climate action.
